Yesterday one of my new friends asked if I wanted to go to to Hoehenpark. It's 123 acres and dates back to 1939, the very first time there was a horticultural show on the grounds. It continues to host garden shows to this day. And there is a lantern festival here in July.
In the middle of the park is a 40m high lookout tower, which the following photos were taken from. There is a small train that goes through the park for children, a farm with pigs, goats, chickens, a swimming pool, playgrounds, traditional restaurants for the region and cafes. Marie loves to go to the farm and see the animals, so it's good to know that it's not too far from home.
